SUPPORT OUR TROOPS
During the Spring of 2007, the Evangelism/Outreach Committee began “adopting” members of the military that are currently serving in Iraq.
These soldiers are far from the conveniences we take for granted and are working in hard and dangerous conditions. The average deployment lasts for six months to one year so we are committed to supporting them until they return to US soil.
A list of items and the donation box is located in the narthex. You will also find a can for cash donations to help defray the cost of mailings. The packages are mailed once we receive a sufficient amount of items, usually as often as every month or two.
