The evangelism committee of St Paul’s strives to seek ways to reach out to people in our greater community to welcome them to our church as well as providing events for fellowship for our church memberships.

For the past year, we have worked with a company that that sends postcards to all new move-in’s within a10 mile radius of the church. The postcards invite people to come and worship with us and also share just a bit about our congregation.

This year, a major project has been the ordering and placing of new road signs giving directions to our church in the Trexlertown community. The evangelism committee with the help of the property committee is just about ready to complete this project.

A major outreach project is our annual community Easter egg hunt. Each year, we are amazed at the number of people that come.

In order to help our member grow in faith and learn more about the wider church, we encouraged our membership to subscribe to the Lutheran magazine.

Our committee provides various social activities throughout the year. These include lots of pot-lucks, game nights, trips to ball games and shows.

The evangelism committee is always seeking ways of sharing the love of God with others. If you have a passion for sharing God’s love with others, we would love for you to join our committee.
